Registered Cardiac Sonographer - Ultrasound (Days) (PRN)

About the Role

Plans, coordinates, supervises, and carries out the activities of the ultrasound area. Work is performed in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise ultrasound area activities
• Perform ultrasound procedures independently

Requirements

• Technical or vocational school plus up to 2 years of specialty training
• No prior work experience required
• Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible

Qualifications

• ARDMS, CCI, or registry eligible for either
• Must possess or obtain one of the following credentials within 18 months of hire to maintain employment:
  • ARDMS: RDMS, RVT, RDCS, or RDS
  • CCI: ACS, RCCS, RCS, or RVS
  • ARRT(S)
• Must obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire
