About the role
The Registered Behavior Tech (RBT) is a paraprofessional staff who may assist with students/residents in crisis. The RBT team member will be responsible for assisting and implementing program techniques based on Behavior Intervention Plans in both the classrooms and residence.
Responsibilities
- Absolutely assist and implement program techniques based on Behavior Intervention Plans in both the classrooms and residence.
- Primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior management services.
- Include the ability to demonstrate precision by implementing replacement skills training.
Requirements
- Experience in behavior management.
- Candidate must possess an RBT credential.
- Must be flexible and organized.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands if this position which would include use of SCIP-R and involvement with hands-on supports.
- Bachelor's degree not required.
