Registered Behavior Technician RBT - Sign on Bonus $500

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians, both entry-level and experienced, to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. Join us in collaborating with families to execute ABA-based behavior intervention plans.

Multiple positions available at our Dallas, Texas center. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered for candidates with active RBT Certification and Medicaid.

Pay

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) earn $24.00 - $26.00 hourly, based on experience, education, and certifications. Non-RBT rate: $19 - $21 hourly. Once RBT certified, the rate increases to $23 hourly. Training for RBT certification is available.

Schedule

Part-time with the ability to ramp up to full-time hours (30 hours a week). Monday - Friday availability required, with center hours between 8 AM - 4 PM.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavioral analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for working with children and a genuine love for helping them.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude for working with children and families.
• Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Interest in ongoing development and continuous learning.
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with your name listed.
• Must have a tablet or laptop computer to use during sessions (not just a smartphone).
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check.

Physical Requirements

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
