Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA Behavioral Technician (BT)

About the Role

Advanceable ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide home‑based ABA therapy for children with autism. You will work in the child’s natural environment, helping them develop skills they use every day while being part of a supportive clinical team.

Pay

Earn $21‑$29 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time, flexible scheduling. Afternoon and after‑school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed), 15–25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily‑living skills
• Use evidence‑based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Track progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicate professionally with families and members of the clinical team
• Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Stay active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (support provided if you are not yet certified)
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the Colonial Beach, VA area
