Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Kapolei, HI - Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings

About the role

Step Ahead ABA has an in-home case open in Kapolei and we're looking for the right RBT for it. The case serves a family in Kapolei, with a BCBA already assigned to the case and covering the region. Ideal candidates are available Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy according to the client's treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the assigned BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for work performed.
• Receive competency assessments, observation, and supportive feedback from the BCBA.
• Participate in paid non‑billable time such as training and required meetings.

Requirements

• Active RBT registration with the BACB (current on start date).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings.
• Comfort working in a family's home.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to stay active and engaged during sessions.

Skills

• Passionate about working with children with autism.
• Read the treatment plan before each session and proactively communicate concerns to the BCBA.
• Consistent attendance and reliability.
• Treat each child with respect and as an individual.

Pay

• $30 per hour for direct therapy (billable time).
• $16 per hour for paid non‑billable time (training, required meetings).

Schedule

Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings; exact days, times, and neighborhood will be discussed at interview before commitment.
