About the Role

Whether you're already a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or just starting your journey, we provide paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for career advancement. If you're not yet certified, we'll support you through our ABA Academy of Excellence to help you prepare for and pass the RBT exam, which is required by the BACB to deliver care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Preferred:

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields.
• Experience working with children or adolescents.
• Prior exposure to ABA services.

Position-Specific Requirements:

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total).
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total).
• Training Availability (BT/RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pay

Starting rate of $22.25/hour for BTs and $24.60/hour for RBTs. Final compensation determined by experience, training, and education.
