Responsibilities

  • Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues based on client needs.
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
  • Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
  • Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Preferred:

  • Experience in childcare, education, or related fields.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Prior exposure to ABA services.

Position-Specific Requirements:

  • Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total).
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total).
  • Training Availability (BT/RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pay

  • RBT: Starting rate of $24.60 per hour.
  • BT: Starting rate of $22.25 per hour.

Final compensation determined by experience, training, and education.
