Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Behavior Technician
About the role
Support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through behavior analysis techniques.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior plans based on individualized treatment programs
- Monitor and record data to evaluate progress
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals
- Provide positive reinforcement and redirection strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, or related field
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles
- Experience working with individuals with ASD preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Passing the RBT certification exam required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and empathy
- Attention to detail
