About the Role

As a Behavior Therapist, you’ll help children with autism develop new skills, celebrate milestones, and reach their full potential while jumpstarting your career in behavioral health. No prior experience is required—we provide fully paid comprehensive training to help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, with most new hires ready to sit for certification within 35 days.

Pay

Competitive pay based on experience and education:

• High School or Associate’s Degree: $17.05 – $23.00 per hour, with $1.00 per hour increases every six months (based on starting level at hire).
• Master’s Degree: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour.

Eligibility to participate in the Shared Success Bonus Plan, with quarterly bonuses paid after obtaining RBT certification. Up to 3 RBT exam and annual renewal fees are covered.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children ages 2-8 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them learn communication, social, and daily-living skills.
• Implement individualized therapy programs designed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), collect data, and participate in team discussions around progress and strategy.
• Bring energy, creativity, and passion—using play, movement, and laughter to engage children while promoting skill-building and growth.
• Partner with clients and their families in celebrating wins, problem-solving challenges, and promoting each child’s growth.

Requirements

• Energetic team players who can engage and move with children throughout sessions, including bending, squatting, lifting up to 30 pounds, and keeping pace with energetic young learners.
• A collaborator ready to handle multiple tasks and decisions at once—guiding children, taking notes, and communicating with parents or clinical staff.
• Positive role models committed to safety, maintaining an organized, safe, and welcoming therapy environment.
• Driven optimists who arrive on-time, are ready to learn, take feedback, and bring a can-do attitude to teams and families.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance; ability to travel to other clinics when assigned.
