Position Summary

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide one-to-one behavioral support services to students with IEPs within a school-based setting under the direction of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). This role focuses on implementing individualized educational and behavioral strategies that support student success academically, socially, and behaviorally. Responsibilities include implementing ABA interventions, supporting classroom routines, collecting behavioral data, and collaborating with educational and behavioral teams.   • School-day schedule, Monday–Friday
  • Full time
  • School year assignment

Key Duties

  • Implement student IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using ABA strategies with fidelity
  • Assist teachers and collaborate with educational and behavioral teams to support classroom and school routines
  • Provide one-to-one behavioral support services to students in educational settings
  • Accurately collect, graph, and maintain student behavioral data
  • Utilize QBS Safety Care de-escalation strategies and physical management techniques when necessary for safety
  • Attend and participate in individual and group supervision sessions to maintain BACB compliance requirements
  • Support students in achieving behavioral, social, and educational goals
  • Participate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree or higher
  • Licenses & Certifications: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of ABA strategies and behavior intervention techniques
    • Strong empathy and understanding of developmental stages and student behavioral needs
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational and behavioral support teams
    • Strong communication, organization, and data collection skills
    • Ability to physically support students and participate in active classroom environments
