About the Role
Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Job Type: Full-time
Location: 10 Parker Lane, 1st Floor Pinehurst, NC 28374
Pay Range: $37,440 - $52,000 (hourly pay, not salary)
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBACollect data on client behaviors and progressEngage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and developmentCommunicate with families about their child's progress and strategiesAssist in developing educational materials and resourcesParticipate in team meetings and training sessionsAdhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis
Requirements
- Active RBT certification - OR - certificate of completion of a 40-hour RBT training course recognized and accepted by the BACB - OR - work experience as a BT in the field of ABA
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs
- Ability to obtain CPR certification before your employment start date
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat throughout the day
- Comfortable working fully on-site in a center-based setting
