About the role

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with developmental disabilities. This role is crucial in supporting clients in achieving their behavioral goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals
  • Aid in developing care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Provide support and education to clients and their families regarding behavioral strategies and interventions
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a cohesive approach
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy

Requirements

  • Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related field
  • 0 years of experience with children with developmental disabilities
  • Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively
  • Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management techniques
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed medical records and care plans
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families
