About the role
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will provide behavioral support services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on data-driven decisions.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide direct support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities.
- Assist in training and coaching staff members providing support to clients.
- Document all interactions and progress in client files.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved RBT training program.
- Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Basic understanding of data collection and analysis techniques.
- Passion for helping individuals with autism and related disorders.
Skills
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
