About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
  • Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
  • Provide support and encouragement to children to help them reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Document progress and communicate with parents and other caregivers.
  • Adapt to the unpredictable and potentially confrontational nature of working with children with autism.

Requirements

  • Passionate about helping children with autism.
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
  • Ability to pass a pre employment background check.

Starting Pay Range: $19 - $24
