Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
• Provide one-on-one behavior therapy sessions to individuals with ASD
• Collect and record data on client progress by using electronic data collection software
• Work with the supervising BCBA to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
• Ongoing communication with parents to review and monitor the client's progress
• Develop/create teaching materials and visuals
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Passionate about working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (if required for travel)

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Experience or training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a plus
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Pay

$21.00 - $26.00 / hour
