Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

A registered behavior technician (RBT) at Aviation ABA Therapy provides in-home ABA therapy to children and families in Utah County. The role involves delivering individualized 1:1 therapy, implementing skill-building programs, collecting and recording data, communicating with supervisors, and participating in parent training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized 1:1 ABA therapy as directed by your supervising BCBA
• Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured teaching methods
• Collect and record data electronically after each session
• Communicate regularly with your BCBA and the clinical team
• Participate in parent training sessions and generalization activities when needed
• Assist with assessments, therapy prep, and session organization
• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans and safety protocols
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
• Step into lead therapist responsibilities when requested

Requirements

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to become certified with our support)
• Reliable transportation within Utah County and surrounding areas
• Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children
• Eligible to work in the U.S., with valid driver’s license and insurance
