About the role
A registered behavior technician (RBT) at Aviation ABA Therapy provides in-home ABA therapy to children and families in the Vineyard and Orem area. The role involves delivering individualized 1:1 therapy, implementing skill-building programs, collecting and recording data, communicating with supervisors and the clinical team, and participating in parent training sessions and generalization activities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized 1:1 ABA therapy as directed by your supervising BCBA
- Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured teaching methods
- Collect and record data electronically after each session
- Communicate regularly with your BCBA and the clinical team
- Participate in parent training sessions and generalization activities when needed
- Assist with assessments, therapy prep, and session organization
- Follow individualized behavior intervention plans and safety protocols
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
- Step into lead therapist responsibilities when requested
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to become certified with our support)
- Reliable transportation within Vineyard and Orem
- Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable using a tablet/iPad for electronic data collection
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children
- Eligible to work in the U.S., with valid driver’s license and insurance
