Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role
You’ll work one-on-one with kids with autism in their homes, classrooms, and communities. Every day is different. You’ll follow a personalized plan from your BCBA, implement behavior strategies, collect data, and build the consistent relationships that help kids grow. Your BCBA is closely involved and reachable, so there’s no guessing and no flying solo.

Responsibilities
- Implement personalized behavior plans created by your BCBA
- Use behavior strategies in homes, schools, and community settings
- Collect and record data on client progress
- Build consistent, trusting relationships with children and their families
Requirements
- Genuinely enjoy working with children, especially those who need extra patience and creativity
- Have an active RBT certification, or the drive to earn one
- Reliable availability across mornings, afternoons, or evenings to meet client needs
- Background in education, childcare, psychology, social work, or similar experience
- Reliable transportation to reach client homes and schools
- Physical ability to be active, including lifting up to ~50 lbs, getting on the floor, and moving around
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check

Pay
$20–$27/hour, based on experience and location
Schedule
Full-time or part-time with flexibility across mornings, afternoons, and evenings to meet client needs.
