Job Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a critical role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team of behavior analysts and therapists, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavioral plans and protocols under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide in-home and community-based behavioral therapy services to children aged 0-21
- Maintain accurate and complete records of client sessions and progress
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Current RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education) preferred
- Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to lift and move equipment, as well as provide physical support to clients as needed
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes and community locations
