Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their natural environments, implementing behavioral intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Implement behavioral skills training, including functional skills, social skills, and communication skills
- Collect data on client progress and maintain accurate records
- Assist in developing and implementing behavioral plans, as directed by BCBAs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 4 months of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Must have a valid RBT credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift and move equipment and supplies (up to 25 pounds)
Work Environment
- Part-time schedule
- In-home therapy setting, with occasional travel to other locations as needed
