Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

At Alight Behavioral Therapy, we provide personalized, in-home ABA therapy and autism evaluations, all designed to help children on the autism spectrum reach their full potential. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team of professionals in Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral plans and interventions in various settings, including homes, schools, and community locations
• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and treatment efficacy
• Aid in the development of behavioral plans and treatment strategies under the supervision of a BCBA
• Provide indirect support to family members, caregivers, and other professionals to promote consistent implementation of behavioral plans
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including data collection, progress notes, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (psychology, special education, or a related field)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
