Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

At Alight Behavioral Therapy, we provide personalized, in-home ABA therapy and autism evaluations, all designed to help children on the autism spectrum reach their full potential. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Raeford, NC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 behavioral therapy sessions with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a home-based setting
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavioral interventions under the supervision of a BCBA
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
• Collaborate with BCBA and family members to develop and update treatment plans
• Provide supportive and educational strategies to family members and caregivers
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or degree in a related field preferred
• Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
