Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Aim Higher ABA Therapy in Las Vegas, Nevada. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism learn and thrive through individualized consultation and intervention services.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to children ages 2-12 with autism, focusing on behavioral goals and outcomes
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Managers
- Collect and record data on client progress, identifying areas of improvement and communicating with team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment, adhering to all necessary protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with families to ensure a smooth transition of services and provide ongoing support
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements
- Current RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities (n/a years of experience)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
As a Part-Time RBT, you will work a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of our clients. Our modern therapy center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive team environment.
