Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

In-home ABA therapy position delivering 1:1 services in the child’s home and surrounding areas (Smithfield, NC). Work in the natural environment where children learn and grow best.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Help children with autism reach communication, play, and life-skill goals in an engaged, playful, and active manner.
• Track progress through accurate session data and notes.
• Communicate with families and your clinical team to support success.
• Stay physically active during sessions (sitting, squatting, playing, running, etc.).

Requirements

• Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain certification with our support).
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).

Schedule

• Part-time and full-time positions available.
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed).
• 15–25+ hours per week depending on availability and client needs.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $23–$29/hour (based on experience and credentials).
