- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (required)
- High school or equivalent diploma or transcripts
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to interact, engage, and have fun with individuals with disabilities
- Desire to learn and work independently at times
- Provide high-quality, interactive ABA therapy directly with clients of varying ages in a variety of settings including the client’s home, school, and/or the community.
- Help learners gain life skills that will increase the learner’s independence (communication, daily living, potty training, social/emotional skills, play skills, vocational skills).
- Teach learners new communication skills and replacement behaviors through the use of evidence-based techniques to reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect accurate data and meet data collection minimums for the services provided, as well as write detailed session notes in order to inform decisions made by BCBAs.
- Reliably attend scheduled sessions
- Participate in ongoing trainings
