About the role
Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through behavior analysis techniques.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior plans as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and record behavior data accurately
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement behavior intervention strategies
- Provide positive reinforcement and corrective feedback as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
