Registered Behavior Technician - ABA (Butte, MT)

About the role

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will help individuals develop communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills through safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors. You will work collaboratively with families and the treatment team to deliver effective, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.
• Increase the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate behaviors by providing access to reinforcers (desired items/actions, attention, or removal of demands/aversive situations).
• Accurately collect behavior data, including A-B-C, count, frequency, duration, latency, event, and interval-based recording.
• Follow treatment plan goals and interventions, using sound judgment and seeking consultation when needed.
• Collaborate with family and treatment team members to provide effective treatment without disrupting the environment.
• Educate stakeholders about the role of ABA-based interventions and the RBT, functioning within the boundaries of the RBT role.

Requirements

• Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to work as a team member, make and report observations accurately, and follow instructions.
• Ability to learn behavioral and clinical methods.
• High School Diploma or HSE (required).
• Valid Montana Driver’s License or ability to obtain one, with an acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable criminal and protective services background check.

Pay

$19.00 - $23.59 per hour to start.
