About the role

The role is responsible for providing specialized dietetic care to patients with pulmonary and weight management needs. This includes developing personalized nutrition plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nutrition plans tailored to patients' pulmonary and weight management needs.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition, meal planning, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Conduct nutritional assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in pulmonary and weight management nutrition.

Requirements

• A registered dietitian (RD) license in the state of practice.
• At least 3 years of experience in pulmonary or weight management nutrition.
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field.
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
