About the role
Genussmarathon is more than a team event – it is a movement against boring offsites and rigid corporate evenings. We combine interactive, app-based city rallies with a shared dinner finale, turning a "mandatory appointment" into a genuine experience that bonds teams and sparks conversations that last beyond 48 hours. Every week, we bring over 2,000 people together across various cities – moving, talking, and finally gathering around a table. As we continue to grow, we are looking for curious, committed people who enjoy pace, take responsibility, and value teamwork at eye level.
Responsibilities
- Partner management & onboarding: Find the restaurants in NRW that truly excel – brewhouses, local markets, international kitchens (NRW eats the whole world). Convince them to become part of Genussmarathon and introduce them to the partner network. Negotiate terms and remain the long-term contact – on equal footing, with respect for their work. Maintain the network: a good relationship with every partner restaurant is golden.
- Client care: Be the first voice companies hear when they inquire with us. Accompany them from first contact through to after the event – calmly, reliably, and to the point. Take time for them – not because you have to, but because you know a good evening requires good preparation. Generate repeat bookings and referrals not through acquisition, but through good work.
- Event support: Coordinate the entire process – game ring, rally, award ceremony, destination restaurant – all from one source. Ensure the evening runs as your clients deserve. Be available during the event – for the team on the route and for the restaurant at the table. Take feedback seriously and pass it on so we improve next time.
- Planning & coordination: Coordinate schedules, bookings, and arrangements between clients, restaurants, and headquarters. Keep your overviews tidy: what's running, what's coming, what needs clarification. Recognise where there is still potential in your region and bring forward ideas.
Qualifications
- You love good food – not as a hobby, but as an attitude
- You can inspire people: restaurateurs just as much as HR managers
- You enjoy organising and maintain an overview, even when several balls are in the air
- You work autonomously – you know what needs to be done without being pushed
- You are available in the evenings and occasionally on weekends, because events take place then
- You live in Hamburg and have a sense of what makes the city – for its local gastronomy as well as its understatement
- Experience in gastronomy, events, or sales is welcome – personality is more important
Benefits
- A job with real meaning: you give people evenings that remain memorable
- Plenty of freedom: you shape your region yourself, with a lot of remote work and flexible scheduling
- Flat hierarchies, direct communication, quick feedback
- Open to permanent employment, part-time, or freelance – we will find the model that suits you
- A growing company with big plans ahead
