Arcadis is seeking a Water/Wastewater Account Leader to help shape the future of water infrastructure across Texas. This is a unique opportunity to lead strategic client relationships, influence the growth of one of the industry's leading water practices, and work alongside nationally recognized technical experts on some of the state's most impactful water and wastewater programs. This highly visible leadership role is ideal for a proven water industry professional who excels at building client relationships, driving business growth, leading high-performing teams, and delivering complex infrastructure projects that improve communities. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Arcadis' continued growth in Texas while helping clients solve their most critical water challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow strategic client relationships, identify new opportunities, and lead business development efforts across the Texas water market.
  • Lead positioning, capture planning, proposals, presentations, and interviews to win complex water and wastewater projects.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, reuse, and pumping facility projects while managing scope, risk, schedule, and financial performance.
  • Partner with technical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional client service.
  • Mentor and develop engineers and project managers while helping build a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on long-term water and wastewater infrastructure planning and investment.
  • Travel of approximately 10% is required for client meetings, project visits, and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain through reciprocity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 20 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $148,800 - $223,200. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
