Regional VP, Operations & Finance (Regional CFO)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Regional VP, Operations & Finance (Regional CFO) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This remote leadership role will oversee regional financial and operational performance across a multi-market healthcare environment. The position will partner closely with operational leaders to shape market strategy, strengthen compliance, and improve profitability. A key focus will be driving P&L accountability, budget discipline, and performance insights while supporting critical Medicare Advantage and CMS-related processes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$223,700 – $307,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of regional market strategy in partnership with operational leaders
• Own regional P&L, margin, and administrative budget targets
• Design and implement policies that improve performance while maintaining regulatory compliance
• Establish controls to identify and analyze data for performance improvement
• Oversee the annual CMS bid process
• Manage the administrative budget and provide strategic analyses for provider contracting and performance
• Cultivate business relationships that support knowledge sharing and performance enhancement

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and CMS bid processes
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 8+ years of finance experience in health solutions, ideally including 3 years in a CFO or COO role
• Proven leadership skills with experience building high-performing teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage across all organizational levels
• Willingness to travel at least 20% within the region
• Must reside in or be open to relocating to Texas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma, preferably Texas
