About the Role
The Regional Vice President drives sales across the available product lineup with advisors in bank and broker dealer firms. This role involves working closely with sales leadership to maximize sales, exceed territory goals, and enhance brand visibility by educating advisors on our products and supporting their business initiatives.
Territory: VA, West VA
Responsibilities
- Pursue and cultivate business relationships, partnerships, and alliances internally, externally, and virtually to achieve professional and organizational goals.
- Apply knowledge of each advisor’s practice and firm to develop and provide optimal strategies, using advisor intelligence to pivot, cross-sell, and open new opportunities.
- Identify and execute opportunities to use Eagle strategies to help advisors and firms grow their business.
- Leverage product expertise to meet client needs and differentiate Eagle offerings.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of Eagle products, strategies, systems, processes, and technologies.
- Manage time, productivity, and resources effectively to create operating efficiencies and maximize territory leadership.
- Use Eagle tools, systems, and processes to generate demand, execute long-range sales plans, and forecast accurately.
- Develop strategic plans for accomplishing sales goals and prioritize opportunities based on data and account strategies.
- Prospect consistently, expand the producer base, and ensure movement of opportunities through the sales process.
- Increase sales through field activity, including face-to-face meetings, client seminars, training, point-of-sale engagements, and continuing education.
- Travel up to 75% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or six years of related experience in sales and/or wholesaling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years of external annuity wholesaling experience preferred (internal wholesalers with a proven track record are also considered).
- Life & Health, FINRA 6 and/or 7 with 63 licenses preferred; other professional designations encouraged.
