The Regional Vice President (RVP) at CONAM Management is responsible for the profitable operation of all apartment communities in the Phoenix and Las Vegas regions. This full-time position includes a comprehensive benefits package and a pay range of $185,000 - $225,000 annually.
About the Role
The RVP oversees the financial and reporting aspects of the assigned corporate region, supervises regional-level and site associates, monitors training compliance, recruits new hires, ensures legal compliance, manages risk, communicates with owners, and seeks new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Effectively measure and track property-level leasing performance to meet owner and budget objectives.
- Measure and report financial results against the region’s annual operating budget.
- Manage all corporate, regional-level, and site associates according to local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Maintain training compliance for all associates within the assigned region and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Work with the Talent Acquisition team to engage in the recruitment and onboarding process for open positions.
- Ensure all business operations comply with fair housing and fair employment laws and regulations.
- Be familiar with regulatory programs pertaining to each property and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and the CONAM Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
- Proactively communicate with owners on the performance of each property within the assigned portfolio.
- Comply with state and local real estate laws and licensing requirements, including maintaining a valid real estate license.
- Manage complex operational matters on a daily basis, including new business development and risk management.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience as a Regional Vice President in the multifamily management field.
- 7+ years of experience in the multi-family industry.
- Experience leading, mentoring, coaching, and taking managerial responsibility for regional teams and onsite associates.
- Experience managing budgeting and reporting, marketing, and leasing efforts for all properties in the portfolio.
- Experience overseeing complex operational matters on a daily basis.
- Experience with onboarding/offboarding properties and a State of California Real Estate License.
- Computer knowledge: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and property management software.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance coverage; travel throughout several markets required.
