About the role

As a Regional Vice President of Strategic Relations, you lead the Southwest region’s efforts to generate revenue by developing strategic relationships with executive and C-suite leaders. This is an exciting, fast-paced position that requires knowledge of general fundraising practices and executive engagement strategies. This is an office-based position offering a hybrid schedule, located in the Dallas/Fort Worth or Houston, Texas area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of accounts and have responsibility for achieving an annual revenue goal of $5 million in year one and build to $10 million in year two.
  • Design, develop, and lead regional committees to achieve the region's strategic plan and fundraising goals, including identifying and leveraging strategic volunteer leadership relationships.
  • Develop and manage strategies that drive key regional initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Collaborate with region committees and staff to ensure strategies and implementation plans are coordinated across the region.
  • Cultivate innovative relationships with new and existing partners, and identify sponsorship opportunities to achieve results.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where staff from various functions work together to achieve mission and revenue goals.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned, consistent with the scope, level, and responsibilities of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years spent in a development capacity at a similar non-profit organization.
  • 3 years leading staff, preferably development or fundraising staff.
  • Experience leading and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-suite level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southwest region (Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming) approximately 50% of the time.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and/or move large objects (e.g., boxes); heavier items may require breaking down into smaller components or requesting assistance.

Pay

We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay, based on achieving certain revenue targets.
