Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of accounts and have responsibility for achieving an annual revenue goal of $5 million in year one and build to $10 million in year two.
- Design, develop, and lead regional committees to achieve the region's strategic plan and fundraising goals. This includes identifying and leveraging strategic volunteer leadership relationships.
- Develop and manage strategies that drive key regional initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Collaborate with the region committees and staff to ensure strategies and implementation plans are coordinated across the region.
- Cultivate innovative relationships with new and existing partners, and identify sponsorship opportunities to achieve results.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment where staff from various functions work together to achieve results related to our mission and revenue goals.
- Complete additional duties as assigned, consistent with the scope, level, and responsibilities of the role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years spent in a development capacity at a similar non-profit organization.
- 3 years leading staff, preferably development or fundraising staff.
- Experience leading and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-suite level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel throughout the Southwest region approximately 50% of the time, including Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.
