Regional Vice President
Job Summary
As a Regional Vice President at John W. Danforth Company, you will serve as a key executive leader, driving performance, growth, and operational excellence across your region. You’ll lead teams, build strong client relationships, and ensure projects and operations consistently deliver high-quality results aligned with company strategy and values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead regional operations to achieve financial, operational, and performance goals, including margin targets.
Provide strategic leadership and make high-impact decisions while aligning with company vision and priorities.
Oversee financial performance, including forecasting, reporting, and project reviews across the region.
Drive business development by building client relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting sales strategy.
Lead and develop teams by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure effective staffing and resource alignment to meet project and operational demands.
Partner with internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality execution across projects and services.
Represent the company in industry events, client meetings, and community engagement efforts.
Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
Proven experience leading operations with full P&L responsibility for large-scale contracting businesses ($50M+ revenue).
Demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth and operational performance.
Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing teams.
Ability to collaborate across functions and lead within a matrixed organization.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to represent the company externally.
