Regional Vice President

This role is responsible for revenue growth in the assigned region and is highly diverse and visible, requiring the ability to set priorities, multi-task, and work in an ever-changing environment. The position demands strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed market profit and revenue goals annually.
  • Ultimate responsibility for Regional performance, including understanding all positions within the Region and leading employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Manage and grow people, revenue, and profits by hiring, mentoring, and leading profit center managers.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered to all clients; conduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports.
  • Set Regional objectives, establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with best practices, state regulations, and client service requirements.
  • Work closely with managers to identify opportunities for improvement and leverage existing efficiencies.
  • Evaluate staff performance, set and review business objectives and staff goals.
  • Grow market share through accountability for customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Troubleshoot workflows; act as the point of contact for escalations as needed.
  • Maintain CorVel product line best practice standards and policies.
  • Demonstrate and promote the CorVel Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Analyze reporting and trending indicators and develop subsequent action plans.
  • Interface with multiple product managers and internal CorVel business units.
  • Focus on both process development and business and technical solutions.
  • Develop clear communication channels and direction among cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for all aspects of collections in conjunction with respective operations management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Significant industry experience and a deep understanding of CorVel’s proprietary systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated ability to provide superior service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with course concentration in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field; or 10+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience in a complex healthcare organization with significant project management expertise.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Pay

CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay, with salary ranges varying by location. Factors considered include federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. The pay range for this role is $141,216 - $235,386. For leveled roles, new hires may be slotted into a different level based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit, which may impact the salary range.
