Job Summary The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for leading and overseeing all operational, financial, and strategic activities across a defined multi-state region. This role drives business performance and profitable growth through strong leadership, operational excellence, and execution of company strategy while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. The RVP provides direction to regional and branch leadership teams to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and a high-performance culture. Strategic Leadership Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with company goalsTranslate corporate objectives into actionable plans across multiple states and branchesIdentify growth opportunities including market expansion, acquisitions, service enhancements, and business conversions Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform decision-making Customer & Market Focus Strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholdersEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and service deliveryPartner with sales leadership to drive business development and client retentionRepresent the company within the region and industry Operational Excellence Oversee day-to-day operations across all locations within the regionEnsure consistent execution of operational standards, policies, and proceduresDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction/retentionPartner with functional leaders (HR, Finance, Safety, Sales) to ensure operational alignment Financial Performance Own full P&L responsibility for the region/territoryDevelop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plansAnalyze financial performance and implement corrective actions as neededDrive revenue growth while maintaining cost discipline and margin improvement Leadership & Talent Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of Directors, Branch Managers, and functional leadersBuild a strong leadership pipeline through succession planning and talent developmentFoster a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performanceSupport recruiting and retention strategies across the region Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal regulations, and safety standardsMitigate operational and financial risks across the regionPromote a strong safety culture and adherence to regulatory requirements Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site or multi-state operationsProven track record of managing large teams and driving financial performanceExperience with full P&L ownership and strategic planning Core Competencies Strategic thinking and business acumen to drive profitable growthStrong leadership and team development skillsFinancial and analytical expertiseOperational excellence mindsetInfluence and stakeholder managementChange leadership and adaptability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Revenue growth and profitability (EBITDA/margin performance)Safety and compliance performanceOperational efficiency and productivity metricsEmployee engagement and retentionCustomer satisfaction and retention rates Physical Demands/Requirements Position is a combination of mobile and sedentary work; must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time Extensive travel (50–70%) across assigned multi-state region. Ability to travel by car, train, and plane Ability to manage remote teams and operate across multiple time zonesMay spend time working away from BrightView’s places of business, walking job sites, selling and obtaining orders or contracts for BrightView’s services Position needs to be able to traverse uneven grounds and walk on job sites with clients and the branch team for periods of timeAbility to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur Work Environment Operates in both an office environment and in the Field BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
