About the role

The Regional Transitions Manager leads the onboarding and integration of newly acquired apartment communities across a multi-state region. This role takes ownership of each property from the day of closing through stabilization — setting up staffing, systems, vendors, and operating procedures, identifying and mitigating operational and physical risk at the asset, and transferring a fully functioning community to the ongoing regional operations team. Approximately 75% travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational, physical, and liability exposure at multifamily assets and drive remediation to closure
• Take over and stabilize underperforming or newly acquired properties
• Manage compressed transition timelines and meet deadlines
• Build credibility quickly with unfamiliar teams

Requirements

• Demonstrated risk management experience in multifamily assets
• Proven ability to stabilize underperforming or newly acquired properties
• Excellent time management and leadership skills

Physical Requirements

• Approximately 75% travel, including overnight stays and extended assignments at acquisition sites
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Standing, walking, and meeting with teams
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Ability to traverse a variety of properties with stairs and in various weather conditions
• Ability to travel by automobile and plane
