About the role
Spending 25-50% of your time away from home, this position delivers a high level of strategic prospecting to build a pipeline of new sales orders. Meets and exceeds the assigned regional growth objectives and exemplifies sales service excellence to nurture and grow customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high level of sales service excellence to nurture and grow customer accounts.
- Develop and execute a regional sales territory growth plan with the VP of Sales.
- Work collaboratively and in tandem with a Territory Sales Representative based in HQ to assume lead with in-market Sales Qualified Leads (SQL).
- Maintain active levels of engagement with Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL).
- Travel to customer sites, attend and participate in trade shows, conduct lunch and learn training, and other events as required.
- Maintain relationships at levels that drive organic sales generated leads, repeat business and development of RENEW and ENVISION deals.
- In collaboration with the TSR HQ and the VP of Sales Engineering and Partner Management, develop working relationships with Alliance Partners in the assigned region.
- Develop and maintain regular forecasting metrics and reports, relative to monthly, quarterly revenue projections within the assigned region working in tandem with TSR HQ.
- Be skillful in applying a proven sales process at each stage of a deal.
- Go the extra mile to drive sales results.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing or related fields.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Extensive experience in a technical sales oriented environment.
- Track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Naturally enthusiastic, positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to build strong business relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals, groups and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills including verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think strategically.
- Results oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer skills and competence with CRM, Sales Operations technologies, G Suite, etc.
- Ability to travel, must have a valid passport and full driver’s license.
- Work experience in drainage systems, building materials, or food and beverage/construction industries sales is an asset
Pay
$70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
