About the role

The Phoenix Residence is seeking a Regional Support Professional to join our team. As a Regional Support Professional, you will build relationships, provide quality living experiences, and serve individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with individuals with disabilities
• Provide person-centered care including meal prep, light exercise, local transportation, social interactions, and housekeeping
• Help individuals enjoy life by assisting with their daily functions
• Bring joy and encouragement to the lives of the clients you work with
• Work with a team of 4 homes in a designated region
• Perform tasks as assigned and assist with training when needed

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• One year of experience working with individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities or human services related field, preferred
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Willingness to provide personal care for individuals as needed
• Ability to coordinate activities and services
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to adequately interact and respond to individuals and meet their service needs
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a safe driving record
• Trained Medication Passer within 60 days of employment
• CPR and First Aid trained within 60 days of employment
• Able to see and hear adequately to make assessments and respond to individuals' needs
• Able to respond to emergencies according to established policies and procedures
• Able to use a computer for required documentation, communication, and time log purposes

Pay

The range for the RSP is $17-19 per hour.

Schedule

Must be willing to work every other weekend, mornings, evenings, or overnights.
