The Senior Retail Pharmacist (VSP/PT) compiles and dispenses medications and pharmaceuticals. Work assignments involve handling moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth analysis of variable factors.

Responsibilities

  • Dispensing prescriptions and administering immunizations
  • Maintaining necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges, and inventory
  • Providing clinical recommendations to clinic staff and supervising the retail pharmacy team

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacist license with the Board of Pharmacy in Kansas and/or Missouri
  • Certified immunizer in the state of Kansas and/or Missouri
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Strong technology skills
  • Patient-facing role in Humana/Senior Bridge's TB screening program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail Pharmacy experience
  • Dual License preferred (Kansas and Missouri)
  • Ability to float between Kansas City Market pharmacies (Missouri and Kansas)

About the Role

The Staff Retail Pharmacist (Regional Support Pharmacist) works at CenterWell Senior Primary Care Clinics in Kansas City, Kansas and/or Kansas City, Missouri. The pharmacy addresses are State Ave, Kansas City, KS 66112 and 301 E Armour Blvd, Suite 2-East, Kansas City, MO 64111. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST with a lunch break from 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM CST. The anticipated need is for one 8-hour day per week on average.

Pay Range: $115,200 - $158,400 per year
