Primary Functions
- Shipping and receiving of VELUX products to both internal and external customers.
- General warehousing functions including: picking, loading and unloading trucks, stocking, labeling, packaging and driving a forklift.
- Aid in conducting physical inventory and bar coding.
- Install blinds.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Shipping and receiving experience as well as general warehousing knowledge are required.
- Forklift experience is required. A Certified Forklift license is preferred.
- Must possess good math skills to help with physical inventory counts.
- Experience with hand tools and assembling parts is preferred.
- Experience with physical inventories as well as scanning bar-coded products is preferred.
- Experience with data collection and SAP is preferred.
- Must possess an overall good work, safety and attendance record and desire to work within a team environment.
- Must be capable of lifting/reaching/stooping/climbing with weights up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
