Regional Service Manager (Birmingham)

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule in-house and field service technicians for the location and region.
• Train and assist service technicians on knowledge with all products PUSA services.
• Approve and manage expenses and costs for daily operations.
• Review the location plan for current and future workloads including labor and customer needs.
• Works with other locations as needed to ensure customer needs are met.
• Detail knowledge of area customer base and competition.
• Goal is to have zero defects on service. Process and file all warranty claims for Palfinger and other vendors.
• Active and courteous communication with internal support. Customer focused approach to both external customers and “internal” customers.

Your Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 14 years’ experience in broad/general shop/service management or 10 years’ experience within the truck equipment /crane equipment industry.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and company CRM.
• Proven ability to work independently, to take initiative and be resourceful.
• Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Technical knowledge on the products Palfinger produces.
• Good people skills and ability to look at situations from a business standpoint.
