Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily maintenance operations across both communities.
  • Develop and execute production schedules, preventive maintenance programs, and capital improvement projects.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of Maintenance Technicians while promoting accountability and professional growth.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues involving HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, electrical, and general building systems.
  • Provide hands-on support with service requests and apartment turns when needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining exceptional resident satisfaction.
  • Cooky with vendors and contractors to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.
  • Manage inventory, maintenance materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, common areas, and vacant apartments to maintain company standards.
  • Persistently partner with the office team to deliver outstanding resident experience.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency situations, including weather-related events such as snow removal.
  • Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, respect, and outstanding customer service.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of maintenance leadership or management experience.
  • 4+ years of multifamily maintenance experience or comparable technical experience.
  • Strong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, electrical, and general maintenance.
  • HVAC Certification required; boiler experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize workloads, and drive operational excellence.
  • Experience managing preventive maintenance programs, work orders, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and developing high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable using smartphones, maintenance applications, Microsoft Teams, email, and other technology.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Positive attitude with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to supporting your team and residents.

Pay

Schedule
