About the Role

AGCO is seeking a Regional Service Manager in the Columbia, KY area to efficiently manage, coordinate, and schedule Field Service and Shop Service Technicians. This role involves maintaining timely invoicing of work orders, communicating with customers regarding quotes and job status, and coordinating with other dealership departments to serve customer and employee needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assign jobs and work areas to Service Technicians based on their skills and knowledge.
  • Proactively seek customer feedback, anticipate problems, and respond promptly.
  • Respond to and follow up on employee issues and concerns.
  • Review all repair work orders for accuracy and completeness regarding parts, materials, and labor, and approve the release of equipment for delivery.
  • Work with the Service Manager or supervisor in all aspects of the service department, potentially filling the Service Manager’s role in their absence.
  • Assist in appraising repair work coming into the service department.
  • Advise the Service Manager of all customer complaints.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all technicians.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.
  • Conduct yourself professionally in the presence of customers and the community to represent the dealership.
  • Proactively seek and participate in company-sponsored training to develop and advance your knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in company-driven communication efforts, including meetings and huddles.
  • Maintain positive and professional working relationships with peers, management, and support resources, emphasizing teamwork and customer service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Graduation from a related diesel or Ag technology program (preferred).
