Department Job Description Summary: Position Responsibilities Demonstrates effective skills in recruiting, interviewing and selecting new employees.Continuously reviews and improves delivery of services through an on-going Quality Improvement plan, and monitor the Bed Tracking System.Attends all training programs and committee meetings scheduled.Plans, developments and implements a fiscal and operational plan for the department and submits to immediate supervisor with supportive documents for approval by due dateReports quarterly the status of goals and objectives.Reviews monthly responsibilities summaries and submits financial analysis within five working days to immediate supervisor identifying reasons for negative variances with recommendations for resolution.Maintains OT within approved limits.Reviews monthly responsibilities summaries and submits financial analysis within five working days to immediate supervisor identifying reasons for negative variances with recommendations for resolution.Demonstrates ability to lead group teams as evident by atmosphere of teamwork, efforts to obtain input of others involved in planned activity and lack of internal conflict.Oversees the security of the inventory and equipment pertaining to Environmental Services.Administers departmental policies for education, safety, infection control, quality improvement and emergency preparedness to meet hospital established guidelines and JACHO standards.Monitors and Supervises all Team Leaders & supervisors.
