About the role
Orascoptic seeks a highly motivated, results-driven Regional Sales Support Representative (RSSR) to drive growth in our North America Market by generating qualified sales appointments and supporting the field sales team at events.
Responsibilities
- Qualify leads via CRM and set quality appointments for Field Sales Reps to achieve daily & monthly targets.
- Maintain open communication with the field sales team to ensure a seamless transition of leads/opportunities.
- Meet with manager daily, monthly, and quarterly to review KPIs.
- Create new sales opportunities through in-person cold calling, social media, and phone prospecting.
- Maintain a high level of conversion rate from lead to appointment.
- Learn to sell, take custom measurements, and service Orascoptic’s product line of custom loupes and headlights.
- Attend, support, and sell at trade shows, school fittings, and continuing education events.
- Provide sales/service coverage for open territories.
- Make outbound sales calls to customers to support funnel management.
- Provide customers with sales consultations and post-sales service over the phone and in person.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of related work experience with a heavy focus on customer interaction and engagement; inside or outside sales experience is a plus.
Skills
- Self-driven with strong interpersonal skills.
- Good business acumen, including business management fundamentals.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Proven success in quickly learning computer systems.
- Good data entry accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven success in prioritizing assigned work.
- Ability to gather, understand, and interpret information.
- Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
Location & Travel
Position is remote—candidate can live anywhere in the U.S., preferably near an airport. Up to 75% travel, including weekend travel, primarily to schools, trade shows, and continuing education courses across the U.S. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for car travel.

Pay
$55,500 - $65,000
