About the role
A regional sales representative for Simon Roofing, a leading commercial roofing solutions organization, is sought for the San Francisco region. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in outside sales and a strong drive for professional development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on exceptional customer service
- Provide consultative roofing service solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building efforts
- Organize and execute targeted programs and communications to reinforce the value propositions of Simon Roofing
Requirements
- A degree focusing on Sales, Construction Management, Communications, Business, Social Sciences, or Marketing is preferred
- At least 2 years of outside sales experience
- (Roofing experience not required)
- Work and reside in the San Francisco, California Region
- Willing and able to work remotely (work from home)
- Cold Calling/Prospecting experience
- Customer service oriented
- Knowledgeable about the local community in your assigned territory
- Ability to climb ladders to rooftops
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet
- Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a business development mindset
- Strong skills in organization, active listening, and sales closing
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening

- Generous base salary of $60,000 per year (and up to $15,000 in performance bonuses)
