Regional Sales Rep (ED-203) (3836)

Develop prospects and call on existing customers for WPI's complete product lines, service, and parts. Maintain existing accounts and develop new accounts. Call on assigned accounts in all locations within the region.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer contact on a regular basis
• Strive to elevate customer contacts and relationships to higher decision-making levels
• Participate as a member of selected customer account teams and proactively provide input/support to the Account Team Leader and other team members
• Fully participate in the development of customer quotes
• Ensure customers receive goods and services in a timely fashion
• Maintain close communications with customers, Regional Manager, Branch Manager, and account teams
• Identify and report decision makers to account teams
• Maintain sufficient knowledge of WPI’s entire product/service offering to identify and secure opportunities or pass them to the appropriate team member
• Report all sales leads to Regional Manager and account teams
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree in an applied discipline preferred)
• Sales experience in the natural gas engine/compressor field preferred
• Working knowledge of the role and its relation to overall business objectives
• Ability to meet company goals and objectives
• Adherence to company policies and procedures
• Current driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Self-starter with high motivation
• Computer literate, with preference for Windows-based environment (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Strong customer relations skills
• Ability to travel and stay overnight as needed
• Commitment to protecting company assets and interests

Schedule

Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
